Brian uses a combination of over 20 years of working knowledge and music education to offer the student a comprehensive study program.

Brian's music education includes middle school and high school bands, nearly two years of jazz and drumset study at the University of South Florida in Tampa, years of private instruction from some of the world's leading drummers including with Jason Harnell (Maynard Ferguson, Keiko Matsui/MIT Instructor), David Hardman (USF Instructor), Dom Famularo, Latin Jazz drummer Mark Walker (Oregon, Paquito D'Rivera, Michel Camilo),  and jazz/fusion great Dave Weckl as well as hundreds of professional performances all around the southeast with various artists.

Brian's playing experience covers a wide range of genres including rock, pop, fusion, jazz, Latin, contemporary jazz, country, bluegrass, funk and others.

He is a graduate of The University of Georgia in Athens.
